Hikvision camera from eBay?

I've just bought a camera on eBay from a seller called BidCity, City Auctioneering Ltd. when unpacking it, I ripped off the bubble wrap and plastic packaging and saw the bottom of the cardboard box first and it was a little bit splayed apart, and it looked like it had been opened already, but not on the sealed end. I actually opened it from the bottom very easily, and have since sealed it up and you might not notice the subtle difference, the design of the box sort of defeats the purpose of the seal? surely the cardboard box tab should have barbs on it so you can't open it from below without ripping it?

and something else, the camera is missing a white trim ring I think, well I'm almost certain as it doesn't look like the picture on the box but can someone just confirm that please?

Yes, as you say, the bezel tim is missing from that camera (and I know from experience that we have been unable to get replacements for those when customers have damaged or lost them).

It'd be best to contact the seller and report it ASAP.

Yes it's getting sent back and they have a few of them so have bought another and asked for them to check it before it's sent but I bet they don't. they did mention that it was sealed so couldn't explain it.

seems a shame you can't buy a simple spart part like that
