hello everyone, I’m slowly updating the full house with hikvision (have the nvr and poe etc).
We have a Google nest doorbell, it’s hard wired into a transformer and a hard wired doorbell chime, it’s powered by the standard 2 bell wires.
I’m after changing this to a hikvision villa series doorbell, if I bring cat6 to the bell, can I also connect these two standard doorbell cables so the indoor chime rings when the bell is pressed? As well as getting notified via the app?
I’ve ordered the large IP hikvision screen as eventually we would like to automate the gates and have an intercom system there too, and obviously viewing cctv/ alarm.
If this is possible, would anyone have any idea what the best hikvision bell would be best for us?
Another off topic question, but with this amazing hikvision IP series monitor, does anyone know what alarms I can sync with this apart from pyronix?
