I have my Hik cameras going into my Hik NVR. The NVR is connected via CAT6 cable to a PC that runs IVMS-4200. The NVR just acts as the recorder.
I have a Hik DS-1005KI joystick that I used in a different configuration but in the above configuration I can't get it to work. I've plugged it into both USB ports of the NVR and into the PC and initiated it but no response. I'm wondering if I have to tell IVMS where it is somehow as the joystick merely being recognized by the PC isn't enough.

If anyone has a similar setup please let me know how you got it to work.
thanks

Hi @Kraquin

We have not been hands-on with this particular device but look at the instructions from Hikvision's website it would appear that you need to install the Joystick/keyboard driver and then enable the device in the iVMS settings.

You can find the driver software here
