Hikvision DS-2CD2386G2-IU AcuSense 8MP Wont display in colour

Hi, I have had two Hikvision DS-2CD2386G2-IU AcuSense 8MP darkfighter cameras for a few months now. They have been fine up until now.

When it’s dark and my security light is triggered , it would switch to colour . But it’s only staying black and white.

Any ideas why this would be ?

It may be an IR switch sensitivity issue, if you log in to the camera directly and go to Configuration > Image > Display Settings > Day/Night Switch you will see a sensitivity setting. The sensitivity ranges from 0 to 7, the higher the value is, the easier the mode switches. So if you increase the sensitivity slightly it should require less light to trigger the switch back to colour and so the security light should then be enough to trigger it again.
