Firmware Hikvision G1 camera 5.5.x to 5.6.x firmware update?

I have a DS-7616NI-SP NVR with 3.4.5 firmware and have a DS-2CD2355FWD-I G1 camera attached with V5.5.83 build 190221 firmware.

It is possible to update to v5.6.6 firmware on the G1 and still work?

Have not updated previously due to concern about the no going back from v5.6.x without a lot of issues and still want a working camera!

Updating the camera firmware should be fine, I would be more nervous if it was the reverse and you were updating a newer NVR model and losing access to older camera models. The camera firmware update should not change how the camera links to the NVR.
