Door Entry Hikvision Intercom Not Adding Keyfobs

Hi folk,

Trying to add more mi-fare fobs to an existing hikvision system we look after, We've added them in the past but it's just seem to of stopped and given up,

They add & read successfully (with a card reader) , but don't read when we try scan them on the door to unlock it or to add it doesn't seem add either,

The card numbers have changed from 10 in length to around 8 in length could this have something todo with it?
