Door Entry hikvision kd8003-ime1 silent unlocking?

Hi,

Is there any way to have the Hikvision kd8003-ime1 unlock the door silently (without any announcement)?

At the moment, every time the door is unlocked, a voice announces "The door is open".
This can be a little annoying for the neighbors at 2am.

I really have searched google and haven't been able to find a discussion on this topic.
Apologies in advance if I have missed a previous post on this topic.

i dont think it can be disabled, maybe you can setup the speak volume to zero?
not sure what the difference is between speak and output

keep pe posted, interested in this too

Setting Output volume to 0 did indeed stop the annoying voice and the 2-way intercom audio still works fine

Ah that's good, I think that's was the only voice prompt anyway? Or are we missing other prompts too?

Maybe the calling signal? Do you still hear that if you press the button?

Does anyone know why I cant change the volume settings on the door station? I get an 'invalid operation' message every time I try to adjust and save any of the audio settings. Ive upgraded, defaulted and still nothing. I'm certain it worked when I first installed it a year ago.

That worked! Shouldn't have trusted IVMS when it said there was no update available. Thanks
