Hi, I have DS7608NXI-K2/8P l NVR that has 5 Dahua IP cams (IPC-HDW2841TM-S), they are connected via ONVIF protocol, time sync option in NVR is enabled for every camera.
NVR is connected to the Internet and its time sync via NTP works fine (time on the NVR is correct) but the time on the camera image is incorrect, I can set it manually in camera settings web page but after some time it drifts indicating that the sync is not occurring.
Since the cameras are connected directly to the NVR they don’t have access to the Internet meaning I can’t use NTP.
Some additional details: I have two user groups in each camera, one is admin and the other one I created for NVR. I created the second one so I can control the AV parameters on the camera (it has more options than the NVR, if the NVR has this permission then it resets the image settings to the settings on the NVR wich are quite limited). The NVR user group has all permission except AV parameters.
I tried enabling AV parameters permissions as well for test but it did not fix the issue.
Also, all cameras and NVR are updated to the latest firmware.
Has anyone had this issue or maybe know what could be the issue?
Maybe I can start a local NTP server via NVR and point my cameras to the local IP as the NTP server?
Any idea would be appreciated!
