Hikvision price rises

Hello use-ip admin.

It's been reported elsewhere that hikvision are applying 5% increase across their range in May. Is this correct and if so will you be applying the increase as well.

We have been forewarned that some prices may rise as much as 10%.
But, as yet, we do not have a new pricelist.
So, we do not know which models are affected.
And until then we won't decide what we do about it.

The price increase is due to the worldwide shortages of chips and other components.

Another manufacturer has announced that their IP camera prices will increase by a minimum of 20% (some models more).
They stated "from April 30th", but have still yet to provide a pricelist.
They've asked us to carry on until we hear further ...

Nothing is ever straight forward, but I think it is fair to say that prices are only going in one direction for the foreseeable
