Hikvision PTZ not working at night but works ok during the day?

I have a PTZ camera that works fine during the day but It stops at 6:30pm - 7:15 am. any ideas

Works fine as in - has picture - can move - records? And then between those times - powers down and you get nothing?

Does it have IR LEDs?
Does the downtime correspond with when you might expect those LEDs to illuminate e.g. dusk to dawn.
Do you have a power supply of sufficient capacity?
For example, some PTZs might be able to draw sufficient power for most functionality from an NVR's POE port (or low power POE injector), but the IR LEDs or the heater switching on will be too much for the power source, and the camera will appear to fail.

This is also my thinking Phil. You could disable the IR by setting the camera in to "day mode", does it now work 24/7 (albeit it with poor night images)?

I get Picture, Records but No ptz action ie no movement between those time.

Are you using a power supply or POE?
