Hi Guys,
We have a failed NVR and we need to retrieve the footage from a previous date for police review.

Can I put this into a replacement NVR and be able to play these back?

You probably won't be able to move the HDD to another NVR and view the footage there because on fitting a HDD to a new NVR you will be required to format the drive to use it/access it and this obviously will lose all the footage.

Your best option would be to purchase a HDD Reader/Docking Station that can be connected to a PC and will let you read the files on the drive.
