I’m a novice and also old so this is going to be difficult for both of us!
I have a NVR DS 7608N1-K2 8P FIRMWARE is V3.4.96 build 170921 (system says it’s the latest version?)
I have all 8 channels working fine and has been for many years. I recently purchased a DS-2cd2347g3-l12uy (factory ip 192.168.1.64) to relace an older camera.
With the old camera the system works fine with an ip address for the old camera of 192.168.254.4
When I plug in the new one it’s says NO LINK and Ip address becomes192.168.254.3
With Hik connect I’ve tried changing to manual and setting the new camera ip to 192.168.1.64 and the status says The Network is Unreachable.
If I change back to plug and play the ip becomes 192.168.254.4 and status is IP CAMERA DOES NOT EXIST.
I have an IPad with HikConnect and can change parameters with a mouse on the telivision.
