I have raised a ticket with Hikvision.Maybe I have found a bug.
With the old front end, you could go into Camera Management and on the far right, link directly into that camera to alter / adjust its setting etc.
Well the new front end offers the same, but out of my 5 cameras, 3 of the links fail, they open a new browser page but show the result as 'Failed to connect to device, reopen the window.' instead of the 'Log In' page.
The ones which don't show:

I think I'll unplug the cameras in the morning and plug them in again to see if that changes anything.
I assume you're on the same network when clicking the links. They're on the local network address and so cannot be accessed from the internet (unless you're using a VPN).I have raised a ticket with Hikvision.
Yes, they have always worked in the past, I'm going to spend the morning going through it, I'll just restart everything from scratch, might be quicker than going through everything individually.I assume you're on the same network when clicking the links. The motion detection schedule setting was always like. You're just setting when you want that detection to be active as belowI think I've found something else which seems to have changed for the worse.
With the old front end, if I were to set up say, Motion Detection under Configuration / Event I'd draw the area in squares and then set the 'Arming Schedule'
In the old version, on the right hand side you'd have various colours to choose from, from memory, Blue was 'Continuous', Green was 'Motion' and then there were other colours for different actions, and you'd set the colour side to match the times you wished the event to be active.
On the new version, all these colour options are not present and the only option is 'blue' and therefore continuous. Now whilst I've lowered the 'sensitivity' of my motion detection, I've found that it is capturing 'what it sees' 24/7 whether there is motion or not.
I just can't find a way of setting it like I could with the old version.
I've tried this under the 'main' front end and under 'camera management'
Thanks JB1970, I was looking for the 'advanced' menu. Under the old interface I'm sure it was on the same page as your first image and there was an 'advanced' button on the same page. The motion detection schedule setting was always like. I think you may be thinking of the Storage schedule. There you can determine whether you want recording to be continuous, motion only, event etc and it's colour coded the way you have described, as below:
