How do I get NVR time displayed on IP Cam???

I synced my NVRs to a time server and would like my IP Cams to pull time, date and video-description from the NVR. How do I do this???

Hi @Golden

Are you accessing the NVR with a browser or using a direct VGA/HDMI monitor?
If you are accessing with a monitor can you confirm the NVR model you have and the firmware version you are running? (the direct monitor GUI varies between some models & firmware so the instructions for time settings can be slightly different)

currently i can only access remotely via browser

Ok, you need to go to Configuration > Image > OSD Settings, once on that page, you can select each camera from the dropdown and then tick 'Display Time' to add the live time to the live stream. (you can also adjust the time format to either 12-hour or 24-hour, whichever you prefer)
