Hi there, how do I go about seeing if my ivms-4200 has a new software update , and find the current version ?

You can check the current version by going to Options>Help>About, as shown here:

I can't find a way to automatically update within the software, I'm afraid, so I think you'll need to manually download and install the newest version from here, which is what I have always done:

iVMS-4200 V3.12.0.7_E & 4200 AC V1.11.0.5
