How long does it take you to download 1 hour of footage on Hikvision?

We don't have a hard figure on this as there are many variables (resolution, fps, CODEC, the complexity of the footage, the processing power of your PC if you're downloading from a browser, etc...) but we would probably say somewhere between 30 minutes to an hour.
We usually recommend that you adjust the packet time that your NVR records at to 10-15 minutes that way you don't have to download huge files just to get to the couple of minutes you actually need. You will find the Packet Time settings under Configuration > Storage > Advanced Settings > Other
