Hello,
I'm new in this forum and also a beginner with HIKVISION cameras. I've some expertise on Axis cameras and now I've started with HIKVISION.
I open this thread because I want to integrate my camera in a website and for that purpose I'd like to use the HTTP video streaming of the camera. The camera is DS-2DE5232W-AE and it's updated to the latest firmware 5.6.15. The issue is that when I connect to the camera using a web browser through its url:

http://user:password@IP:port/Streaming/channels/101/httpPreview

It works fine for the first time I do it, however when I try to do a second attemp simultaneously (on a new tab, or a new browser regardless if it is the same computer or other in the network) I get a xlm page:

This XML file does not appear to have any style information associated with it. The document tree is shown below.
<ResponseStatus xmlns="http://www.hikvision.com/ver10/XMLSchema" version="1.0">
<requestURL>/Streaming/channels/101/httpPreview</requestURL>
<statusCode>4</statusCode>
<statusString>Invalid Operation</statusString>
</ResponseStatus>

Does anybody know why this is happening? (I use the same procedure with Axis cameras and works fine for multiple connections).

Thank you.

Hi - I am trying to do exactly the same as the OP. I too have moved from an Axis camera to a HikVision DS-2DE4A425IW-DE.
I want to stream video over HTTP so that I can embed this in a web page (Note this is hosted via Weebly so I only have the option to embed HTML)
Has anyone got this working?

Thanks
Jonathan
