IDIS has recently released two AI boxes that have been designed to bring AI technology to existing systems that do not feature AI built-in.
The AI Box has been designed with retail in mind and provides users with customer and store insights that can help increase sales as well as the ability to meet any healthcare guidelines such as social distancing measures. The DV-1304 is a simple add-on box that is compatible with existing IDIS cameras and NVRs without the need for any additional software or upgrades.
This AI box features up to 64 channels and comes preconfigured with IDIS Solution Suite VMS. This significantly reduces the rate of false alarms and makes it easier for users to detect suspicious behaviour and respond accordingly. Other features include IDIS Instant Meta Filtering and Person Match which allow users to identify people and vehicles of interest quickly and with ease across multiple streams. This considerably reduces the time spent on investigating an event.
IDIS Deep Learning Analytics (IDLA) is a new model created for video surveillance that combines artificial intelligence and deep learning algorithms to perform tasks that were previously time-consuming and arduous with ease and at 98% accuracy.
All features mentioned above are included in the DV-1304 and DV-3200 AI boxes. The DV-1304 has been created with smaller businesses in mind and the DV-3200 has been designed for large-scale surveillance applications so there is something for everyone with these units.
As these are specialist items that have recently been released, both units need to be fetched directly from the warehouse which will incur a 3-week lead time.
