Installed ivms-4200 can't add Ezviz CP1 Pro camera as Cloud P2P device

Would someone please instruct me about how to get an Ezviz camera to show up in 'Main View' of ivms-4200.

I recently purchased 3 Ezviz CP1 Pro cameras and unsuccessfully tried to add them to ivms-4200 (most recent version for Windows). I followed the instructions in a You Tube video about adding an Ezviz camera as Cloud P2P Device but the process does not complete, it doesn't get to entering the encryption key code, nothing appears in the list of cameras on the left side of Main View. I did manage to register a camera by adding it as a 'Device' and it is active but, as before, it doesn't appear as a camera on the left side of 'Main View'.

Thanks.

Did you add the cameras to a group? Make sure when you add it the box is ticked for 'export to group' so that it is available in 'Main View'

Hi Grim Reaper. May I please ask on whether you were connecting your Ezviz CP1 cameras to a router via wireless means or you used the ethernet port

wireless connection
Thanks. May I ask further... How did you assign a static IP address to your Ezviz CP1 cameras. I'm trying to access the advanced network configurations for the Ezviz EB3 through the Ezviz Studio software on Windows but I'm failing because the EB3 won't give me that option. I have already modified the config folder in the root directory to allow for advanced settings.
Please assist.

It might be easier just to add a DHCP reservation in your router using the devices MAC address.

I had a few issues when adding EZVIZ cameras to a Hikvision NVR. Mainly these were that some of the settings I'd applied to the camera using iVMS-4200 would not stick and reverted to their previous values. In case these crop up:
  1. Hik-Connect/EZVIZ Platform Access. I wanted this disabled so that access was only possible via the NVRs Hik-Connect platform. However when disabled it kept re-enabling itself.
  2. NTP Server. This also kept resetting itself to an Amazon NTP server. This caused Hik-Connect Time Sync errors to be reported. As a workaround I simply reprogrammed the NVR NTP server address to match that of the EZVIZ camera and that resolved it.

Hi JB. So I ended up assigning a static IP address through the DHCP pool of the router also using the camera MAC address. I did this by accessing the router web interface, the router in question is a TP Link Router.
However, I still cannot access the Ezviz EB3 cameras through IVMS or SADP tool or even through my HIKVision NVR's web interface. I do not know what I'm missing. Kindly assist if you have an idea.
What kind of process did you go through to add your Ezviz cameras to the HIKVision NVR camera system!?

On the local interface, I just edited one of the spare plug and play channels to manual and entered the IP address, 'admin' as user and the cameras verification password as the password and that brought it online. I don't think it was visible the un-added channels section; I simply added the details for it to connect.

A good day, JB. Thanks for the advice. I tried the same concept and it didn't work for the EB3 cameras. I ended up reaching out to the
Ezviz Technical Support team and they highlighted that the EB3 series together with all other series with an in-built battery do not connect to NVRs as that was never included as their intended functionality, which is to operate as a standalone camera.

@Bule Zozo

I have exactly the same issue with a Tapo C420 and Tapo H200 Hub, which I bought in an offer a year ago.
Users ask for ability to connect on other NVRs but they will never give this option
