Door Entry Intercom action record on microSD card?

Hi all,

I have a Hikvision Intercom with following items:

Outdoor device DS-KV8103
Indoor device DS-KH8340

As I can see there is a possibility to record the actions (specially in absence).
So I bought a sandisk mini sd card with 32GB storage insert her in the indoor device.
When I try to format the sd card I am receive an error with the information that I am not able to format the card.
I contacted already the support team from hikvision but they are uncooperative.
May someone help me from you guys?

Hi @duser

If you aren't already, try logging into the devices in Internet Explorer and formatting the card here.

Check that the firmware is up to date on both devices too:
DS-KV8103-IME2 - V2.0.0 Build 181029
DS-KH8340-TCE2 - V1.4.45 Build 181105

If you're still having no luck, take the card out of the indoor station and try formatting PC first (you'll probably need an adapter) as explained here:

And then install it in the indoor station again, and retry the formatting in Internet Explorer.

Hi, its not a camera its the 2 wire intercom. And I already formatted by PC and it's still work.
Is there any limit of GB for the device?

Sorry, I meant intercom - which firmware is running on each device?

We're only familiar with the IP intercoms, but the maximum card size for these is 32GB, so my guess is that it is the same on the 2-wire series.
