Hey guys new to the group.
I have an Annke NVR with some Hikvision cams. The NVR is set as default (plug and play) and worked straight out of the box. I have tried doing the same with several different generic camera brands and am running into the same issue/ problem witth them all. The NVR recognises the cam/s and gives it an IP address. It then takes a still image which stays for about 10-15 seconds then updates and refeshes to another still image. Cant get them to play in video mode. I'm fairly confident its an NVR setting issue as I have tried 4 different generic brands of IP cams.
Any suggestions of settings to try would be greatly appreciated, or a fix that someone has already come across with the same issue.
I am semi conversant with the olfd DVR systems but new to NVR so layman term answers would be appreciated.
Ive probably not expained this very well either so apologies. I have also tried the SADP tool to no avail. It does not recognise any of the generic cams.
Thanks in advance.
Andy
