Issues with adding a TandemVu PTZ to my NVR?

I have (finally) just installed my cameras and while overall everything went well in terms of hardware installation, I am running into a few small software issues,...let me explain.

I opted for a HIKVISION DS-7608NXI-I2/8P/S NVR compatible with ACUSENSE technology. The first three cameras connected in POE on the NVR without problem (automatic activation with the same Login/Password as the NVR); synchronization with HIK Connect also went smoothly.

On the other hand, I finished today by installing my last camera, a TandemVu (DS-2SE4C425MWG-E/26(F0)) which combines a fixed panoramic camera with a PTZ camera. The camera, like the others, was immediately recognized by the NVR, the POE perfectly connected, strong signal but already I notice on the screen interface (I use the NVR with a remote screen) that the camera is recognized, gives an image by the PTZ camera, but does not offer me any possibility to switch to the other panoramic image or to remote control or configure the PTZ camera motorized.
I tell myself at this point that I should maybe go see on the interface via the IP address but there again, nothing.....

So I decide to go see on the IP interface of the camera directly but when I enter the address of the camera in the address bar, it leads to nothing.

So I make an important parenthesis, at this stage, you should know that both via SADP Tool and IVMS-4200, only my NVR is recognized and not the cameras! I tried to connect my Mac via ethernet cable directly to a free POE port of the NVR, as I had seen on some tutorials but that does not change anything, the cameras are not recognized. The IP address of my NVR is 192.168.0.180 and it seems that the cameras are subdirectories managed by my NVR and not by my network modem. They have addresses assigned under 192.168.254.2/3/4 and 5
Probably the reason why when I type these IP addresses in my search bar, my network does not recognize them.

On the other hand, when I go through the network interface of my NVR, I open "access to the device/device/Video device" and I check the small "access" icon on the far right of the connected devices table (in fact it's what they call the "DEVICE REMOTE CONFIGURATION), it diverts me to the online interface of my PTZ camera and there, I can see ALL the configuration options, the switch between the two PTZ/panoramic channels/options, the PTZ remote control, etc.,....except that I can't use them because when I try, it tells me "no authorization"

it's enough to tear my hair out...well if I still had some :joy:....

Anyway, I investigate further and I observe by going to "system/user management" that "ngtest" appears as the user name, instead of "admin" which is my login ID...well, when I go to "online users" it tells me "ngtest" in the first line and "admin" in the second, both with the address 192.168.254.1
so the problem is that to be able to unblock user access is that I think I need a password linked to the "ngtest" account that I never created, by the way, and so I am blocked.

ah yes, it should also be noted that I can switch to the panoramic camera image but the screen is black, no image...

So there, I must admit to being lost because:

- I don't understand why my cameras are not recognized on the network and by the SADP and IVMS-4200 applications;
- I don't know why the panoramic camera gives a black screen;
-I don't understand where this "ngtest" account comes from... is it possible that it is an account created during a factory test of the equipment? Or is it a reconditioned product that was sold to me as new? Or is it linked to my method of connection to the camera interface (via remote configuration)?
I wrote to HIKVISION's European customer service today because I have no solution but I thought that maybe someone would have already encountered some of the problems mentioned here.

I have never seen mention of ngtest before (never mentioned here at the forum).

Make sure to check for the latest available firmware for your NVR and TandemVu camera - update, cycle the power, and test again.

PoE NVR's have internal NIC for their cameras, and only way to access them is to enable Virtual Host option.
This will create a route from your subnet to NVR internal NIC over certain ports. Each camera will have different port, depending on the channel

So when you enable Virtual host in order to access for example camera on channel 3 it would be nvr-ip-address:65003

Why dont you see any camera in sadp tool or ivms? As i stated above, its not in your subnet at all. Discovery of hikvision devices work in a way that UDP broadcast is sent and when cameras see that broadcast packet, they respond to same broadcast and sadp/ivms pick it up and show you the results.

Only way you can get what you want is to buy PoE switch and connect cameras to switch instead directly to NVR , or connect your laptop to POE channel of your NVR.

Hello. In the end, I managed to install these cameras... Not without difficulty, I first had to let the network addresses of the cameras that were hidden appear...

The problem is that there are a lot of tutorials made from the old version of the Hikvision software but the new AcuSense version, even if it has the same features, has a really different interface and it is not easy to find some options, well hidden or on different tabs.

So, I ended up finding this famous option by finding how to uncheck the DHCP. And the addresses appeared, no more connection problems or restrictive "ngtest" account ...

I still had to grope around to find how to succeed in getting the 2 channels of the TandemVu to pass and distribute them on 2 different POEs but that's also done ...

So, now, everything works, I can see my cameras via IVMS-4200 but still not via SADP... it doesn't matter.

What I haven't managed to do yet however is set my camera to "Smart Tracking" mode, I don't know how to configure it at all.

Right now it's in patrol mode but I'd like it to be able to attach itself to an intruder as soon as he shows up in a delimited area ...

I configured these areas on the panoramic camera with anchor points but it doesn't seem to induce any reaction from the PTZ ...
