iVMS 4200 - Camera not showing in ONLINE DEVICES

Hi all,

I have 1 camera (DS-2CD2385FWD-I/G) connected directly to a 7604Ni NVR.
I can view my camera via the NVR software, iVMS 4200 software as well as HiKconnect no problem.
However, I get a lot of motion blur (car going past house) and would like to rectify this.
The NVR's camera and playback settings are limited and despite adjusting fps etc, even watching live video, motion blur is an issue.
I understand that by adjusting the camera's exposure settings via iVMS4200 I can arradicate this.
However, the camera doesn't show up in the 4200's Device Manager ONLINE DEVICES in order to make these changes.

I see that the NVR changed the IP address - which I've tried with no success.

Do I go to Add/add new device type?
IP/Domain? IP Server? HiDDNS? Seem to have tried all of these...

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Just enable Virtual Host and edit the camera's settings from your browser.

Great tool to have.

However, the cam picture is greyed out in cam settings. I installed WebComponents plug-in but still no picture showing. It's a a bit time consuming jumping backwards and forwards to the iMVS or NVR to check the picture after each small adjustment.

Any idea why that is please?

All my firmware is up to date.

Make sure that you use the Internet Explorer browser.

If you still have problems, then try running Internet Explorer as an administrator:
Run Internet Explorer as an administrator
