Latest Firmware

It has been quite some time since I last did an update on my NVR and cameras and today I have been trying to check what the latest versions are and I just cannot find anything.

Can anyone point me in the right direction please.

My NVR is a 'K Series' DS-7604NI-K1/4P(B) which is running on v4.30.010 - Build 200715

My Cameras are 'G1 Series':-
DS-2CD2035FWD-I 4mm running on 12017 - v 5.5.83 Build 190221
DS-2CD2155FWD I 4mm running on 12017 - v 5.5.83 Build 190221

I have tried using one of the links shown in another thread but I couldn't even open that.

Any help will be much appreciated. Thank you

For NVR you are a couple of versions behind, we would recommend updating to each of the below versions one at a time:

V4.30.060 build201228
V4.30.085 build210409

For the cameras, you are also a few versions behind, each version to update to is listed below:

V5.6.1 190604
V5.6.4 191224
V5.6.6 210625

Thank you so much Dan for your extremly helpful reply to my query, it really is very detailed and is very much appreciated.

I must admit to not realising that I had drifted so much with my system. Well how about this then. The information that I gave in my original post was taken from some notes that I had on file from when I last did an update and NOT from the on-screen information of my system. I naturally assumed that the information/versions on my system would still be the same as my notes. However, this morning when I decided to carry out the updates, I looked at the version numbers and, the NVR is showing as v4.30.085 Build 210409 which is in line with the info that you gave me but, both of my cameras are showing a version that falls between the two latest ones that you provided, i.e. v5.6.5 Build 200316.

I didn't realise that the system would carry out 'automatic updates' but it certainly seems to have done and is spot on with regards to the NVR but is slightly out on the cameras.

Do you have any thoughts on this?

We have been working with Hikvision for many years now and I can quite confidently say that the Hikvision NVR and cameras you have would not auto-update, I suspect that if you made notes of the firmware versions this was probably to share with us when asking for the latest firmware at some earlier date.

We would still recommend updating the cameras to the latest v5.6.6 firmware.
