Local: Abnormal Shutdown on DS-7116HQHI-K1 DVR

Hello,

I hope someone could be of help. I recently installed a DS-7116HQHI-K1(16-ch 1080p Mini H.265 DVR). My DVR keeps suddenly rebooting at random times of the day. I checked the DVR logs and see that the alert named 'Local: Abnormal Shutdown' is displayed in the logs when it happens (usually 10-15 times a day).

DVR Info:
Installed 2Tb Harddrive.
Installed 16 cameras.
Installed power Adapter 12V-5Amp.
DVR Firmware: V3.5.32 build 180129

Anyone else came across this problem?

Hi @mahershakeel

Have you tried a different network cable between the DVR and your LAN?
Do you have a photograph of the power adapter that you are using? Is this the one that came with the DVR?

It may also be firmware related, upgrade the DVR to the latest version which can be downloaded here - DS-7116HQHI-K1: Firmware V4.21.100 build 200307
