Hi

Was wondering if anyone can help?

I have lost sub stream on 2 of my 4 cameras.
Had this problem before but resolved it by climbing on a ladder and doing a hard reset. But I don’t want to be doing this every time.

Can I do a hard reset any other way? Why does this always happen when I have a power cut

On the hik app I can see the 2 cameras only in hd it won’t let me put on basic.

Hi @mr_eb1

What model are the cameras and is the firmware up to date?

If you log into the cameras directly, you can hard reset them by going to:
System > Maintenance > Upgrade & Maintenance > Default

If the camera is connected to your NVR's PoE ports, then you will need to use the Virtual Host feature to log into it directly:
How-to: [Tutorial] Using a Hikvision NVR's "Virtual Host" Feature
(Sorry about the missing images, we're trying to resolve this).

It's also worth checking the suggestions in this thread in case any help with preventing the issue from reoccurring:
Hikvision NVR + Live View Failed on Sub-Stream

Hi thank you for your reply.
Got it working by doing the virtual host feature. Many thanks for that.

One more issue I’ve got is after I got the the cameras working I disconnected the 2 cameras from the Poe and connected it back and get the same issue. Loosing the sub stream. So if I ever get a power cut again I will have to do the following again.

Do you reckon the Poe could be faulty?
OR THE CAMERA COULD BE FAULTY?

The camera models are DA-2CD2385FWD-I

And the box is running On The latest firmware ds-7604ni-k1/4p(b)

It only happens to the 2 out the 4 cameras I have
