Make it stop (sending data)

I noticed my DS-2CD2145FWD-IS is always sending data (more with higher res settings). But I only want it to send on motion detect to save bandwidth on my network. I've disabled everything, schedules, events, all recording to narrow down to what may be triggering it. But still, data is streaming nonstop. Is this just how it works? Is it possible to make it go silent except when it detects movement? Attaching a screenshot with basic cam info. Let me know what else I can provide. Thanks!
