Min/Max setting on NVR

I have 2 off 2CD2055 cameras that have been used with a Synology NAS for the previous 2 years.

Just bought a DS-7604NI-K1 / 4P(B) NVR to take over from the Synology.
The cameras have Min/Max settings for smart events, but the NVR doesn't have the ability to review & set these.
Does this mean that they are ignored when using this NVR?

I'm accessing the NVR via a browser.

Not at all - it's just that not all NVR firmwares support all features of all cameras (even if all the firmware is up to date).

All the alarm settings are set in the camera even when you use the NVR to program them. Set the alarms up as normal by carrying out the settings that are available via the NVR. Once complete login to the camera webpage directly and adjust only the min/max settings to suit. Everything will work as intended.
