Motion detection not working.

Hi.
I have a DS-2CD2385G1-I purchased from USE-IP. It has an SD card fitted and I use the iOS app and the iVMS4200 software on the laptop to view the recordings.

The camera is really good but I cannot get motion detection to work. I only want to be notified if anybody walks onto my garden or comes to the door.

I have attached some screenshots of the settings from the camera configuration page so somebody can hopefully tell where I have gone wrong.

Hi @Teasy1980

1st thing I would do is update the camera firmware to the latest v5.6.4 Firmware

After that, I would also check in the Hik-Connect app that under the device settings you have Notifications enabled.

I did not have notifications enabled in the camera settings on the app.

It now works.

I will update the firmware while I'm on.
