I've spoken to Hikvision who have confirmed that this is a new official release for the (C) versions of the Acusense NVRs.
Another beta version was added in error before this, see here:

I've upgraded our DS-7608NXI-I2/8P/S(C) NVR to this version and have not noticed any issues.
I haven't spotted any obvious changes yet either, but have only clicked around briefly.
It did take quite a while for the NVR to reboot after this upgrade, but it did do so eventually after a few minutes, so don't panic when don't see it come back online right away!
I've asked Hikvision about the release notes so will come back with these if I can
