New Camera not getting an IP / default or showing in SADP?

Brand new out the box ANPR camera, can't see it via IVMS or SADP , layer 3 switch can see MAC but no IP at all.

Have tried reset button 10/20/30 sec no change.

Tried 2 switches and 2 PoE injectors.

IR lights come on for a bit and then nothing.

Any help please?

Hi @s31vec

How are the PoE switches/injectors connected to your local network? Are they connected directly to the router?
Do you have iVMS/SADP installed on a laptop or desktop PC? If it is on a laptop, are you hard-wired to the same network as the cameras or using a WiFi connection?

So...SADP picks up any other camera connected to that cable just not that Camera, have tried everything can think of now getting it RMA'ed

If other cameras are working on that cable and PoE switch/injector then it does sound like it could be faulty.

Have you checked that the PoE Injectors/switches you are trying support the PoE standards for this ANPR camera? Some ANPR models use more power and require an injector/switch with more power (e.g. PoE+ or High PoE output).
