New Dahua System - Getting "Failed Subscription" Error Message when trying to Setup Motion Detection

I have recently installed a 5 camera system and have connected the devices via the DMSS app. The system is online and I can see the live view remotley, however I cannot set the motion detection under multi-channel alarm subscription. Whenever I select the channels and save it come up with the message "Failed Subscription". Can anyone help to get it connected so I receive messages when the MD is activated.
