Mobotix has introduced four new video analytics cameras to their Move range. The new range consists of two bullet and two dome cameras with video analytics built-in to the firmware of the cameras.
There are 8 video analytics tools included:
- Object Counting: counts the number of objects that enter a user-defined zone
- Intrusion Detection: detects and tracks objects that enter the user-defined zone of a scene and an alarm is triggered
- Object Removal: triggers an alarm if the monitored object is removed from the user-defined zone
- Camera Sabotage: detects contrast changes in the field of view and triggers an alarm
- Abandoned Object: triggers an alarm if objects remain in a predefined zone for longer than the user-defined time allows
- Stopped Vehicle: detects vehicles stopped near a specific area and an alarm is triggered if the vehicle stays in that area for longer than the user-defined period of time
- Wrong Direction: generates an alarm in a high traffic area when a person or object moves in a specific direction
- Loitering Detection: identifies people or vehicles that stay and loiter in a defined zone longer than the user-defined time
