No video from FLIR N243BW2 Camera?

I dug out an unused FLIP N243BW2 camera - it is brand new (not been used) but has been in a cupboard for years.
I connected to it and configured it OK (I am a networking guy). However, when I try to view the camera it requests a Web plug-in is down loaded and installed. I cannot get this to work or the camera to stream to my NAS based application.
Has anybody got one of these cameras to work?
It is fun troubleshooting but I have better things to do.
Any ideas will be gratefully received.
I have other Cameras working so it is not a PICNIC issue.
The camera supports ONVIF but I cannot make it connect to QVR Elite on my NAS

We've never sold/worked with FLIR cameras but it does sound like that because it is an old model on old firmware it probably still requires the browser plug-ins that are no longer supported.

We would recommend checking the FLIR website for the latest firmware for this model (if it is a very old model it might be EOL and firmware might not be visible on the website, if that is the case you'll probably have to contact their technical support to see if they can supply the latest firmware).
