Hi,

I have a NVR DS-7616NI-I2/16P and two of Hikvision camera DS-2CD2387G2-LU.
I can not seem to be able to watch live view on web or iVMS 4200 software.
I can view them on His-Connect.

I am running macOS Monterey 12.3.1, using chrome & Safari.
Any idea as to how solve this problem?

Thanks.

Thank you.
I have recently purchased these and assumed it has an atuo update.
Will try later and let you know.
Is it easy to do? I am experienced with IT, updating bios firmares....

Hi @Alex69

Yes, if you follow the below forum instructions it should be relatively easy to update the NVR firmware

Just one more thing Dan,
Can I just jump on the latest version or do I need to upgrade all of them, one at the time.
Thanks.

Can I just jump on the latest version or do I need to upgrade all of them, one at the time.
You are a few versions behind, we would recommend that you update through each of the below firmware versions to get the NVR onto the latest firmware.

V4.51.005 build210628
V4.60.000 build211129
V4.60.005 build220108

I'm pretty sure Dan meant you should load each one of them...

The last time I loaded V4.60.005, I jumped directly from V4.51.025 to V4.60.005... hmmm... I wonder if I should load V4.60.000 then V4.60.005 again?

@Alex69

It is best to update to each firmware version one at a time because if you are updating from a firmware that is 12 months or older than the latest firmware you can see issues jumping firmware.

In answer to @johnfitzy point, in most cases, there is not a hard and fast rule about which versions to update to (some releases will state in the download portal that you must update to this version first). We usually go by the above 12-month rule and if someone is running a version older than 12 months we then suggest the update to the versions where the sub-version number changes (e.g. V4.50 - V4.51 - V4.60).

As v4.51.025 build210927 was only released last September (build210927 = release date 27/09/21) there shouldn't be any issue going straight to v4.60.005
