Hi All,
I recently put V5.04.066 onto my DS-7608NI-M2/8P
Then started getting this message flashing up "There is a channel that has not enabled recording",
which is pure lies, because all six used channels are recording.
But the plot thickens...
I'm using 6 of 8 channels. I removed an old Hikvision Villa door station from 'access control devices'
and went to add a new model Hikvision Villa door station, still wired.
It works fine in Hik-Connect and tests fine by the NVR.
Problem is, when I go to add the new Villa station on the NVR (in 'access control devices') and press the 'save' button,
I get the message "No more video devices can be added"
But in 'video devices' it lists six cams all connected, and poe7 + poe8 are "network disconnected". There are IP entries for poe7 and poe8, but I have no option to delete them.
The 'delete' button is greyed out. I have tried to switch all cams to 'plug and play' and changing the IPs of poe7 and poe8 to random unused IP's, but it still looks like the system thinks all 8 channels are in use, and undeletable.
Is V5.04.066 a bad firmware? If so, which one should I be using? I just bought an 8MP Colorview 3 Turret for the system, and thought a firmware upgrade
on the NVR would be a good idea. The new Turret is working fine, incidentally.
I appreciate any help with this
Cheers
