NVR104 A/P not picking up cameras when plugged into any of the POE ports on NVR

Hi all,

I'm new here. I recently bought the HikVision 4-port POE NVR, along with an IPC-B120 and an IPC-D120. I have set both cameras up and have been able to see the live view from the Hik-Connect app when they are plugged directly into my router or switch (using the separate power supply), but whenever I plug them into the NVR, I notice the camera switches on (as I can see the IR light up), but the NVR just does not seem to find the camera

Attached are the photos of my NVR network settings and the IP camera settings/status.

Any help would be much appreciated!

Have you tried to manually add the cameras? Click the edit icon and switch from plug-and-play to manual. Enter the IP's you assigned them at activation. Keep us posted.

Hi, turned out I just needed to reset the camera back to factory settings so it said ‘inactive’ on SADP. Then it worked ‍

I did also have one of the pairs the wrong way round on my cat5e cable that I plumbed in to the front of the house.
