Playback on NVR using RTSP

Hi,
Is there any way to watch recordings using rtsp requests froma Hikvision NVR? I found rtsp requests for live view and snapshots, but cant find anything about recordings.

Not that I know of.
You may want to ask Hikvision Tech Support directly on that one.

This works for me via VLC:
rtsp://admin:yourPassword@192.168.1.xxx:554/Streaming/tracks/101?starttime=20181114T090516z
That streams the recording from November 2018 at 09h05:16
It might take a bit of fiddling to get the date/time format right but this should get you started.

hi all, i can get this to work on playing back from recording using the above syntax/URL, correct that the date format is fun....
does anyone have a working URL or syntax for live viewing though? thanks in advance
