POE Cable Damaged Pin 1 Orange & white

Hi there i wanted to ask if there is a different way of wiring a POE RJ45 connector to make it work. I did a test and pin 1 (orange and white)isn't working, the cable may of got damaged as building work was carried out. Does any know what all the pins do on a poe CCTV RJ45 connector ie....
Pins
1.Orange and white = data
2.Orange = power +
3.
Etc...

I rather not run a new cable if possible, so if there are spare cables we can use out of the 8 in a cat5e cable that would be great

For the more basic PoE, which these cameras have, you use the data pairs for power. It’s the orange and green pairs. You are wired using 568B spec by the sounds of it. The brown and blue pairs are spare, so you can use either instead.
