Can anyone tell me if a DS-2CD2663G0-IZS motorised vari-focal bullet camera will operate using just 802.3af POE? I know 802.3 at, POE+ is specified as I can appreciate that the motorised lens requires a greater power supply. Would the camera still function on 802.3af POE if you didn't use the motorised lens?
This sounds like a strange request but I have a remote location without power and I am relying on a Ubiquiti USW-Flex POE++ powered switch to provide POE power to 3 cameras. My first choice to provide the best coverage would be vari-focal cameras that I can initially set individually up with POE+ but then move onto the POE switch.
