Firmware Problems updating Hikvision DS-2CD2H86G2-IZS CCTV Firmware

As per the title, I am struggling to update the firmware on my recently purchased camera.
The camera is the only camera connected to an Hikvision DS-7608NI-I2-8P NVR and works perfectly, other than not allowing the firmware update.

I've successfully updated the NVR firmware to V4.60.005 build 220108 but the camera will not update from the current version V5.5.135 build 200610.
I have downloaded version 5.7.3 from here: DS-2CD2H86G2-IZS

I have browser connection to the camera and have tried to update the firmware with IE, Chrome, Firefox but each time I get the same error: "Failed to get the upgrading progress"
I can see other people seemed to get the same problem but nothing suggested elsewhere seems to work

Any suggestions ?

Hi @SteveL

When you are logged into the camera can you go to Configuration > System > System Settings > Basic Information and confirm the "Firmware Version Property" of your camera?

The firmware version property is B-R-G3-0

So your model is a G3 Firmware model, the firmware you downloaded from the Hikvision website is a G5 firmware specifically for the latest (C) generation of cameras.

Your model without (C) would use the latest G3 firmware which is v5.5.801
