Hi all,

New to the forum because i can't find the solution myself.

Qnap TS-453 Pro
Camera-01 = 2CD2612F (Hikvision V5.4.0 build 160530)
Camera-02 = 2CD2742FWD (Hikvision V5.4.4 build 161125)
i want Hikvision to write directly to the NAS (and not use the surveillance station)

On the NAS i've created a user group 'CCTV' with two users: Camera-01 (quota 100GB) and Camera-02 (quota 800GB)
Also (on the NAS) i've created the directory CCTV\Camera-01 and CCTV\Camera-02, including passwords etc.
Camera-02 is now able to reach the corresponding directory and is recording and playing, Camera-01 is not, ??? not even seeing the directory.
I've done all the same on each camera/user

When i change the path in Camera-xx (Record File Settings) the path in the other camera automatically changes as well ... ??

I'm freaking out as i have no more options to think of, pls help

regards
M.

Have you tried reducing the size of the 800MB partition and quota? Try 100 or 200MB and see what happens.

Yes, did that with no positive result.

Ive also tried:
- Unplug camera-02
- Change the path in camera-01 (Record File Settings), save etc.
- Unplug camera-01
- Plug back in camera-02 (boot)
Even than, the settings from camera-01 are visible in the 'Record File Settings' from camera-02

So it has something to do with Qnap or OSX as i don't believe data stays in the cable when unplugging a device :-)
