Questions about Event Pre & Post Recording for a Hikvision Cameras?

I need some help please.
Whatever I choose for pre recording time I always have 9secs of pre recording.
I have tried to set it at 5sec and also at 0sec and I still have 9sec of recording before the event (watching from Hik connect).

Also what is the post recording about? How many sec will continue to record the event after the trigger time? (Pre recording + post recording = total length of event video) am I right?

You are right that the pre-recording + the Event trigger + post-recording should equal the total length of the event video.

What camera model are you configuring this on and what firmware version is the camera using?

What duration do you have the post-recording set to?

My NVR model is DS-7732NXI-I4/S v4.62.225 240123

I use a different camera models but mainly DS-2CD2T87G2-L, version in 2 of my cameras v5.5.820 231108 and all the others v5.5.800 210628

The post recording is set at 5s

Are you seeing this pre-record issue on multiple cameras or just one camera? Try updating the v5.5.800 cameras to firmware V5.5.820

Which Smart Event are you configuring when seeing this pre-record issue? Have you tried configuring different smart events and if you have do you see the same pre-record issue on different smart events?

First of all, my pre recording is at line detection smart event. Also the camera that i use for the line detection is at v.5.5.820 so if it is a version issue there is no need to update my other cameras.
The same pre recording time it appears in any of my events.
I don't know if it is NVR issue, so i have to check for NVR update (my model is DS-7732NXI and the version i use is v4.62.225 240123

That looks to be the latest firmware for your NVR model.

This issue has stumped us a bit, I have a feeling this might be a software issue with these AcuSense NVRs because other users have reported similar issues in other forum threads.

I think is the firmware issue because before I upgrade the pre recording had no issue.
Can I ask you an off topic question in case you know so I don’t have to open new thread?
Yesterday I activate the teams in my app but because it didn’t help in what I wanted to do I debund it after a while. Since then I got no push notifications in my phone (iPhone). The notifications are there in the bell sign I just don’t get notified any more with push notifications.
I have tried to uninstall and reinstall the app and login again as also hard reset my phone but nothing happened. All the other members I share my device get notifications as normally. Do you have any idea about that?
