Hello, I have a question about the recorder model DS-9632NI-I8.

Firmware Version
V4.51.007 build 210818

Encoding Version
V5.0 build 210816
Hardware Version
0100054902000000

But during such time You can still view images of current events as usual.
Therefore, the initial fix was made by rebooting the NVR. After rebooting the device is complete, the NVR can see the HDD normally and historical data is recorded normally.
After looking at the log, I found that

Local: Abnormal Shutdown

What can I do? And is there any channel that can solve this problem?

1. Updating the firmware of the recorder is important for recording in cases where the control system is at risk.
2. Firmware Update function, the recorder will save data so that it can be updated.
3. After that, update the firmware of the recorder when the update is not successful. Supports support for older firmware of additional recorders.

Have you managed to update the firmware or does the NVR keep rebooting before the firmware can be installed?
 
Okay,

Have you tried cycling the power? After you turn the NVR off for 20-30secs and then turn it back on again, does it keep rebooting?

If it does stop rebooting, can you get into the NVR to confirm if firmware has been installed?
 
@Dan Now I just removed the HDD and the machine powered on again.

I still have the HDD plugged in but the machine still won't turn on.

Now my NVR is upgraded to the new version.

Now I've downgraded it in case my NVR comes back up. But downgraded the version and all my settings disappeared.
