For some reason I can no longer change settings on my NVR Configuration>Local tab because the save button won't work.

This means that I can't amend any of the settings shown on the attached image, they simply revert back to where they were when leaving the page.

I've used IE, Edge, Chrome, Firefox both as admin and not admin to no avail.

Any ideas please?

Thank you.

I believe that page is controlled by LocalServiceComponents which is installed to allow viewing of more recent cameras. You can always unstall it via Windows Settings, Installed APPS and then re-install it. When you connect to one of your cameras, you should see the download plugin option.

Version 1.0.0.85 is on the Hikvision website but likely if you have up to date firmware that your camera will have a newer version for download. Mine is 1.0.0.97 and I've not updated for a while either.

That might cure your issue. Nothing to loose by trying it.

You are a genius my friend.

After deleting the LocalServiceComponents as you suggested I was a little concerned as the "local" menu option had disappeared. However, logic says this was to be expected. On re-downloading the plug-in all appears to be working as it should.

Many thanks for your prompt and helpful assistance.

Have a nice day.

Glad it resolved it for you. No idea why you had the issue to start with when it had been working. At least it's an easy fix for once.
