Selection Help - Hikvision IP cameras for my home?

Hi

I am in the process of renovating our property and decided it is time to put some cameras.

I need one at the front, to be attached to the soffit covering the drive which will be widened and the front door area. I will need another one for the back to be attached to the soffit of the extension I am building. The garden is 20m.

Based on the information you've provided, we would probably recommend DS-2CD2346G2-IU 4MP AcuSense Turrets (2.8mm).

One mounted on the far right soffit on the front of the house and one mounted either far left or far right at the back (whichever side has the clearest view of the whole garden).

If you don't plan to expand beyond 4 cameras, we would recommend recording these cameras using the DS-7604NXI-K1/4P 4-ch NVR and we would fit a 2TB HDD.

How would that compare to the DS-2cd2347G2-LU for the front? I have street light post across the house.

Yes, If you have ambient lighting (security lights, street lights, etc...) at the front of the property then you would get good results using the DS-2CD2347G2-LU ColorVu camera.
