Hi Everyone,
I would be very grateful for some help.
I created an FTP server to backup my DVR's and I thought I had it working perfectly.
When a CCTV operator tried to check the DVR for some video of an incident, the DVR software told us there is no record for the camera or channel we selected.
I know I should have a copy in the FTP folder but the FTP folder is not for CCTV operators to access. It is for administrators and we backup to the cloud..
I would like CCTV operator to continue accessing video via the DVR software.
Is this normal? When you create an FTP backup of a DVR, does the FTP backup remove the video from the DVR?
Does this also happen when you use the local backup option in the DVR?
Why would either of these remove the video from the DVR?
Is there any way to stop this happening?
Regards,
Michael
