Smart events - I could see Green, Yellow and Red Lines in Hik-Connect after updating my NVR firmware - now can't?

Hi,

I updated my NVR (7608NXI-I2/8P/S) to 4.62.200 today, and never actually noticed that through the Hik-Connect app I could see different types of events:

Red Line = Event
Green Line = Human
Yellow Line = Vehicle


However, after adjusting some video settings and the line crossing settings, I only get red lines now for Vehicles or Humans (I have Line Crossing set with 1 targeting humans, 2 targeting vehicles)


Running 5.7.12 on 2387G2 LSU.

Anyone seen this before or shed any light on it, or why it might not no longer be “working”?

Doing some digging, it looks like from the Hik-Connect iOS app update 4.27.0:

1. Support filtering video clips by human/vehicle/event tag in playback for NVRs with smart motion detection

Does this mean I have to have Motion Detection enabled on the camera for it to work (I can't honestly say it was enabled before but it may of been), it's currently disabled so will turn it on and tick Human and Vehicle and see how it goes and report back.


EDIT: I can confirm that setting Enable AI by Device to Off, and setting Motion Detection to On, selecting Human and Vehicle, I now get Green line and Yellow lines on the iOS event playback!
