Static IP / DNS

Hi all,

New to the forum so apologies if this is in the wrong place.

I have a comelit DVR which seems to be quite a good system, however the mobile app for remote viewing is pretty poor.
Comelit offer a free DNS service which I understand makes it possible for me to log in via a 3rd party app or web browser.

As part of the sign up process, it asks for DDNS code; I can’t see anything in the settings for this so I’m a little bit stumped.
Any guidance on this would be greatly appreciated.

Here is an example Dynamic DNS service:
Remote Access with Dynamic DNS - 100% DNS Uptime - No-IP

You'd need to ask Comelit which code they are referring to.

Thanks for this Phil. I will try but I believe Comelit tech support is pretty dire.
I’ve signed up to the one on the link above and I think I remember seeing no-ip somewhere in a drop down menu in the network settings for DNS servers so hopefully it will work.
