Following a recent break in, in an attempted to steal a car we are beefing up security at home.
I'm fairly hands on and like to do things myself so buying a kit and doing the install would be my preferred option.
I'm looking to cover all areas of the external property and would like to have a system that produces images good enough to clearly identify anyone day or night.
I've been looking at 4 camera turret systems so far.
I've been looking and liked the sound of active detterant cameras but i'm now led to believe that these may compromise night vision?
The system I've been quoted for at the moment consists of
4 x Dahua IPC-HDW3849H-AS-PV-S4 cameras
1 x Dahua NVR4104 with 2TB HDD
I'm also wondering if it would be possible to turn the Active Detterant off/on via an app for instance when returning and leaving home?
I'm attaching a sat view of the property to give an idea of the area to be CCTV'd
Any advice or recommendations would be most welcome.
